VIA Road Safety program started in coastal schools

First module of VIA

VIA is a global awareness educational program aiming to inform and educate young pupils aged 10 to 18 about road safety.

TotalEnergies EP Bulgaria is glad to start VIA in Bulgaria in cooperation with the Bulgarian Youth Red Cross. The program will be implemented in schools in Varna and Burgas. Its modules are based on an innovative and participatory approach stimulating the children to think about the possible risks on the road and the solutions to avoid them. Instructors will guide them through different topics concerning all road-users: pedestrians, cyclists, scooter-riders and passengers in cars.

More about VIA

VIA is launched by TotalEnergies Foundation in partnership with the Michelin Foundation. It has started in 2019 and was successfully piloted in France, Cameroon and India. It is currently being implemented in 15 countries.

VIA is designed as a modular, flexible, and accessible program for raising young people’s awareness on road hazards
