Total E&P Bulgaria supports the participation of Bulgarian students and professors in the Total Energy Summer School in Paris, July 2016

Over 80 students from 33 countries and 66 universities have now been selected from over 6000 applications to attend the Total Energy Summer School, taking place in July 2016 near Paris, France. Four outstanding students and two professors from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and Mining and Geology University “St. Ivan Rilski” are among the selected participants.

Total E&P Bulgaria believes that sharing access to knowledge is key to our future success. We see education as a long-term priority for our business and we know that everyone benefits when we pool our expertise, expectations and resources.

The students will join senior Total representatives from across the business, leading academics from our Professorial and Research programme as well as Total partner universities for four days of interactive learning and discussion on new global energy challenges.

Through the Total Energy Summer School, we aim to create a dynamic global community where leading educators work together with industry stakeholders to develop the energy leaders and experts of the future.

In addition to that, live from the Total Energy Summer School there will be an online discussion on global energy challenges and their impact on the sector and the world of education. All interested persons may sign up for the free livestream plenary session, ‘What Education, Which Skills for the Future of Energy’ happening on Tuesday 12 July at 8.45 CEST and may send their questions using #TESS16live.
